Larissa De Filippis, RP (qualifying)
Teenagers and Adults
Languages: English
Larissa works from a non-judgmental and collaborative approach when assisting clients within the therapeutic space. She understands the importance of implementing an anti-oppressive and multi-culturally literate lens with all clients, as she works to recognize how systems of power and privilege can influence a client's own narratives of themselves and their identities. Larissa implements a predominantly person-centred and narrative approach in sessions, while including tools and techniques from CBT, DBT, and ACT. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, attachment issues, self-esteem and identity challenges, relationship issues, and other challenges related to the understanding of oneself. In her spare time she enjoys movement through the practices of dancing, exercise, and martial arts.
